Education authorities in the eastern Indian state of Bihar have tightened security at high schools across the state following widespread cheating in examinations.
Some 600 students have been expelled after they were caught cheating this week, a state official said on Friday.
More than 1.4 million students are taking their Year 11 finals (aged between 15 and 16) at more than 1,200 examination centres in the state.
Friends, parents and other relatives of the teenagers were seen scaling the walls of some exam centres on Wednesday and Thursday as they tried to reach the windows of the classrooms where the students were taking their exams.
They appeared to be trying to pass on cheat sheets with the answers written on them.
